Oral Surgery
Rather than being referred to an off-site practitioner, patients who require oral surgery can undergo their treatment from the convenience of our office, with Dr. Michael Graffeo, our oral surgeon. Dr. Graffeo's services include:
- Wisdom Tooth Extractions
- Bone Grafting: This procedure fortifies a weakened jawbone to make a patient's dental implants more successful.
- Sinus Lifts: A sinus lift encourages the growth of bone in the roof of the mouth.
- Biopsies
- Membrane-guided Tissue Regeneration: If your gums are thin or receding, we can guide new growth by surgically placing a special membrane to act as a framework.
- Frenectomies: The mouth has several frenums, or flaps of tissue, which attach the lower and upper lips to the gums, and the tongue to the floor of the mouth. If frenums interfere with speech or eating, we can remove them.
